SPECIAL VIDEO INSTRUCTION AND SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS’ ANXIETY TOWARDS MENSURATION IN GWAGWALADA, NIGERIA

This study investigated the effects of special video instruction on senior secondary school students’ anxiety towards mensuration in Gwagwalada, Nigeria. It employed a quasi-experimental design pre-test post-test non-randomized and non-equivalent control group type. The population comprised all 1 students Gwagwalada area council. Three-stage sampling technique was applied to select two equivalent schools, assign schools experimental groups eventually one intact class from each groups, which formed samples for study. A total 133 participated comprising 74 59 Experimental respectively. Three research questions three corresponding hypotheses were answered tested Data used scores responses Mathematics Anxiety Questionnaire (MAQ). data analyzed using t-test, ANOVA ANCOVA. results are that had positive effect as exposed recorded lower scores; both male female students, low, medium high scorers benefited equally instruction. however recommended among others instructions should be encouraged reduce Mathematics.<p> </p><p><strong> Article visualizations:</strong></p><p><img src="/-counters-/edu_01/0159/a.php" alt="Hit counter" /></p>
